Why Tommy started this

In Tommy's words: "I started the business because I wanted to make a difference for my family and the lives of the community around us. I wanted to build something of value that brings more value to every single person I serve."

That's still the whole plan. Man of Steel is a family company based in Eagle, and it's grown one job at a time — a rental cleanup in Garden Valley for a landlord who couldn't be there, a washer and dryer that a customer swears Tommy lifted like a bag of feathers, a garage that can finally hold a car again.

No franchise, no call center, no crew you've never met. You talk to Tommy, and Tommy's the one who shows up.

The family behind the truck

Man of Steel is Tommy, his wife, and a little one who already thinks the truck is the best thing on earth. Every job is for them.

It's also why Tommy treats your house like he'd want someone treating his. Shoes off if you ask, careful on the walls, and a text when it's done.

Where your stuff actually goes

Hauling it away is the easy part. What happens next matters to us. Usable furniture and household goods go to donation first. Appliances and scrap metal go to recyclers. Yard waste goes to compost.

The transfer station is where the leftovers go — not the first stop, the last one.
